MSL Project Manager Steve Davies has helped raise funds for the American Cancer Society through his involvement in the Mount Horeb (Wisconsin) Relay for Life the last two years. This year, Steve organized five teams of walkers (72 adults and 58 children), and promised to shave his head if his teams could raise $10,000, and to let the kids paint his bare head if they surpassed the 2001 total of $12,750. More than $16,000 was collected by Steve's teams this year ($100,000 was raised at the event)! Steve became involved with Relay for Life after his wife Angie was diagnosed with cancer. She passed away just a few weeks before this year's Relay for Life after a four-year battle with cancer. Steve wishes to thank all of his family, friends, and MSL clients who provided support. |
