Direct all enquiries to our Personnel Director, Don Larson. Current opportunities:GIS Analyst Position is for full-time employment. A B.S. or B.A. in GIS, Cartography, Geography, Environmental Science, Engineering, or other related fields is required. The candidate will have a minimum of two years experience in GIS and education in GIS, and must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Experienced in geodatabase development and programming is needed for this position. Employee must have extensive knowledge of ArcView, ArcGIS, and ArcInfo. Knowledge in GRASS, AutoCAD, ERDAS, or MicroStation is beneficial. Responsible for working on multiple short-term and long-term GIS projects. Employee will assist in project development and staff supervision. Projects may include geodatabase development, programming, research, geocoding, rectification, data capture, editing, data conversions, map production, web-map design, and other assigned tasks. Employee must be able to work independently, will be required to train staff, and will have extensive contact with clients. Applicants must maintain the highest levels of professional conduct and work quality. Employee will also be responsible for organization of data and extensive documentation of work. Applicants must be highly motivated and willing to do what it takes to get the job done. Some travel may be required for client training, marketing, and conferences. Must maintain high knowledge in the GIS field. |
